Two-Sided Textured Scarf Crochet Pattern

EDIT: This pattern is now available for purchase at YarnCanada.ca You can find it here: https://www.yarncanada.ca/products/two-sided-textured-scarf-downloadable-pattern.html

This scarf  pattern is designed to use one entire Caron Cake. I use a new crochet stitch that uses a v-stitch, and combines post stitches in a dc2tog. The result is some fabulous texture on both sides of the scarf developed all at once.

Knowledge of the following stitches is beneficial:

Foundation Double Crochet
Chainless Starting Double Crochet
Front Post & Back Post Double Crochet
Double Crochet 2 Together
If you are new to crochet, there are links to educational videos available and I have included a photo tutorial of the unique stitch.

This crochet pattern was designed to use an entire Caron Cake. You can try it with other cake-type yarns but you might have different results due to varying lengths of the cakes, or you will need a second cake.

Pick up the pattern on Etsy or Ravelry  or at YarnCanada.ca https://www.yarncanada.ca/products/two-sided-textured-scarf-downloadable-pattern.html

I probably raised the price and forgot to change the web. I lowered it on Etsy (it’s easier to change than Rav). Merry Christmas!!
