Oh, look at me, writing a blog post again! I sent out a newsletter for 2025 and made some promises to myself and you about what some goals will be for this year.

There it is. Working on increased website usage. More communication (via newsletters or blog or both). Also publishing SOMETHING! Just get it done!
Then eventually I will update the website to a new look and maybe a new logo.
I’m also going to do the finish 25 in 25 challenge from ChickenLady fiber arts. Here’s her image. You can join her, too. Check out her blog for the info on that. This one isn’t really a challenge for me to make things.

I make loads of things. One of these past years, I thought I’d post an image on Instagram each time I finished something. Then I made things so quickly that I started getting mental about it. First, I finished more than one thing a day and that might screw up the instagram algorithm. Then, I thought ‘if I’m making this many things, does that just make me look neglectful about everything else in my life?’ Is that normal??? So, I stopped posting about all the things I made because I had actually made myself ashamed of it. what the heck?????
So, this time, I’m going to write down all the things I do because I’M AWESOME! I shouldn’t feel ashamed of being accomplished. What would Jane Austen say “all ladies are soo accomplished…they cover screens and I know not what…” That’s right, embroidery counts on this list, too. I always pick up more embroidery around Christmas-time. I’m going to keep it out all year! Not my Christmas decorations, per say, but I’m going to keep some needle and thread projects around me.
I’ve really taken a liking to crazy quilting. Then it blends into junk journal creation, which is another fun hobby. I like cutting things out. I think it stems from having paper dolls.
Oh, hey, if you want to write out your own list, I have a free list book and a paid list book that are both downloadable and printable. There are some with headings written in and lots of blanks available for however you need them. All different styles.
